History of Lee
Lee, the well-known jeans label, was founded in 1889 in Kansas, United States, by Henry David Lee. He already owned a wholesale food company and due to the disappointing quality of the workwear for his employees, he decided to start producing dungarees himself. Over the years, the company developed sturdy workwear for cowboys, lumberjacks and railway workers. Time periods were and still are defined by their clothing.
