Jacquard is a type of fabric knitting that allows for complex two or more-colored patterns to be knitted into the fabric. It is typically used to create sweaters with large-scale patterns, intricate designs, or detailed images. Since all the yarn strands are knitted into the reverse of each row it also produces a product that is far heavier, thicker, and stiffer than a sweater crafted from a flat knitting technique. This means a sweater knitted in a 7 gauge in the Jacquard technique can fell and appear just at heavy as a flat knitted sweater knitted in a 3 gauge. Constructed from an acrylic and recycled polyester mix and knitted in a gauge 7, this heavy sweater made in a regular fit is perfect for keeping you comfortable as you explore urban environments.
