GRAPHIC DESIGNER | Funkie House Rotterdam

We are looking for creative talent to strengthen our webshop of Funkie House Rotterdam! (3 to 4 days a week)
You will have a varied job with different responsibilities. Some of the daily tasks include:
- Providing designs for the website and our social media channels.
- Designing offline materials such as posters, stickers, tote bags and signs for the store.
- Working with the team to answer emails, maintain the mailbox, customer service and other webshop tasks.
- The freedom to create designs for our personal FUNKIE clothing line!
- Developing/creating concepts for campaigns together with the team.
The following qualities are important:
- MBO/HBO education in the field of graphic design.
- You are enthusiastic, spontaneous and have a proactive personality.
- Available approximately 3 days a week and on occasion 1 day during the weekend.
- You can work independently and in a team.
- You live in (the area of) Rotterdam.
- You are a star in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, Adobe premiere and Adobe indesign.

WEBSHOP INTERN | All-round (full time) | April 2022

We are looking for a fantastic all-round intern to strengthen our webshop of Funkie House Rotterdam!
The work at the Funkie House webshop will include:
- Prepare and process online orders.
- Writing SEO texts for our webshop
- You participate as a full member of a young and ambitious team. Your own opinion and ideas are highly valued!
- Provide support with new launches & online campaigns (Marketing)
- Supporting our social media channels with nice content ! (Instagram, Facebook and our Facebook Business Manager.
The following qualities are important*:
- MBO or HBO education in the direction of Communication/ Communication and Multimedia Design/Marketing or Commercial Economics (or similar education).
- You are enthusiastic, spontaneous and have a proactive personality.
- Available 5 days a week and sometimes 1 day in the weekend
- You have an affinity with streetwear and clothing.
- You can work independently and in a team.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- You have basic Adobe skills.
- You live in (the area of) Rotterdam.
- You are service oriented and customer friendly.
- You like delicious snacks :-)
- In possession of your own laptop (preference for macbook).

PHOTOGRAPHY ASSISTANT | Webshop Intern | April 2022

(Start date and hours are negotiable.)
We are looking for an amazing photography intern to strengthen our webshop of Funkie House Rotterdam!
The work of a Photography Assistant will include:
- Assisting with production for editorials / shoots and assisting on set.
- Editing photos for our webshop and uploading them to our website, thereby also writing small product texts and SEO. (Going through the whole process of uploading images.)
- Shooting content for social media. If needed the intern will be asked to shoot content for our social media channels.
- Assisting with lighting and building of studio setups.
- Flat Lay photography in our studio.
- Preparing for webshop photoshoots; keep track of which clothes still need to be photographed, prepping and steaming them.
- Coordinating all daily activities with the Photographer.
- Helping out in our webshop; processing orders, customer service, shipping packages.
The following qualities are important:*
- MBO/HBO education in Photography or an MBO/HBO education in a different field with at least 2 years of Photography experience.
- You are enthusiastic, spontaneous and have a proactive personality.
- Available approximately 4 days a week and on occasion 1 day during the weekend.
- You can work independently and in a team.
- You live in (the area of) Rotterdam.
- You have good knowledge of photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Camera RAW and Adobe Lightroom.
- You are in possession of your own laptop (preference for Apple MacBook).
