What are you wearing today?
My outfit today consists of a few different pieces. I've got my trusty Susan Bijl bag, a pair of comfortable Vagabond Vivian shoes, some Carhartt simple jeans with the Gramicci long baker skirt above it, a warm Dickies summerdale hoodie, and a Carhartt classic vest to top it all off.
Now, as a sales advisor, what do you enjoy most about your work?
One of the things I really love about my job as a sales advisor is the opportunity to connect with people who come into the store. You get to meet individuals you might never have met otherwise. It's very nice to be able to help them by assisting with their choices and seeing how happy it makes them. Also, the bond that forms with my colleagues, who share similar interests and values, often leads to genuine friendships, which is something special.
What's the number one item on your Funkie wishlist?
Well, I've got my eye on a cardigan from Universal Works, and a bunch of pants from Carhartt WIP and Dickies.
How about your outfit inspiration? Where do you draw your style inspiration from?
My outfit inspiration mostly comes from my desire to feel comfortable and confident in what I wear. It's also influenced by the people around me. Friends and colleagues can also be very inspiring, and I follow some amazing women on Instagram who consistently showcase unique and trendy styles.
What's your favorite trend, or do you have any fashion trends you particularly dislike?
I'm not a big fan of following trends, to be honest. I often find them a bit superficial and ever-changing. However, one trend that I do appreciate is the increasing acceptance of women wearing larger, wider, and more "masculine" clothing. It's a step towards breaking down traditional gender norms, and I think that's a positive development.
Finally, are you excited about the new fall collection?
Absolutely! It's great to see more and more people embracing the fall collections on the streets. Fall fashion has a unique vibe with its cozy layers and earthy tones, and I'm always excited to see how it's interpreted and worn by others.
